Happy Easter Sunday!

I was reminded yesterday about my China Glaze Lemon Fizz polish when I read the Easter Nails post from Suka & Spice. I really like the color so I wondered why I don't wear it more often, & after I slapped it on, I remembered. It is a bitch to apply! But still, I love the color so I'll keep my grumbles to a minimum during any future applications.

Here's my Easter Manicure of bright pastel yellow "eggs", with a golden "egg" as an accent lol. Anyways, check out the pictures.

Shopping Bag [9]: Walgreens & Target

Rimmel Moisture Renew SPF 15 lipgloss in 105 Pink Benefit. On sale for 50% off at Walgreens when I purchased it.

 Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave in the Frosted Velvet and Cashmere Rain formulas.

The Revitalizing formula is "infused with exfoliating pearls & verbena."

The Dry Skin formula is "infused with olive butter & soy."

I prefer the Cashmere Rain. The exfoliating pearls in the Revitalizing formula are kind of annoying & I always think they'll dull my blade quicker, plus I don't really think they're great exfoliators.
These were on offer at Walgreens for 2/$4 with a $2 register rewards so basically, I got the 2 for $2.

Oxy Maximum Vanishing Spot Treatment: 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Medication. This was in the clearance section at Walgreens for $1.35 so I decided to try it out! Instead of using it as a spot treatment, I actually spread a thin layer over most of my face. It is very drying so I use a thicker moisturizer over it.

Wet n Wild Color Icon brow and eyeliner pencils in 649 Mink Brown (left) & 655 Charcoal (right). These are currently being sold for $0.69 at Walgreens. Original price is $0.99.

Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. This thing has been sold out for the longest time at Walgreens, Ulta, & Target so I was shocked when I saw a ton of these on the shelf! These were originally priced at $29.99, but I got it on sale for ~$25 at Target. The kit comes with the gadget, one brush head, & a sample tube of the Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser.

Nivea A Kiss of Milk and Honey lip balm 2-pack from Target. Came in a 2 for the price of one pack, but I'd already taken it out of the packaging so I only photographed one. I'd been wanting to try this out, plus the boyfriend had been complaining of dry lips lately so picked it up when I saw it while I was browsing through aisles.

These 2 heat protectants were buy one for $5.99 & get one free. The crazysleek is a thin lotion that's used on damp hair, & the guardian angel is a spray used for dry hair.

I had just run out of my last drugstore makeup remover so when I saw this for 25% off, I grabbed it right up! It works great & smells really nice too.

 This was a steal & I do like the way it sits on my skin, but I've stopped using it due to the fact that it's started to separate :/ I guess that's why it was on sale haha.

Method Sea Minerals liquid hand soap. Picked this up as a backup for the kitchen since this was $2.99 with $2 register rewards.

 Recently watched Kandee Johnson's video on homemade eye makeup remover & I wanted to try it out! But instead of olive oil, I chose grapeseed oil since this can also be used by itself to remove stubborn foundation off of my face as well.

This is the second ingredient for the homemade eye makeup remover, & alone it can be used as a toner too. I'd heard that you can find witch hazel for about a dollar at any drugstore but I didn't find that to be true. The 3 drugstores I checked carried only carry one, maybe two different brands & they cost around $4.00 at the cheapest. 

I was lucky enough to be roaming my local Bartell's just at the right time, because one of the ladies that work there was walking around the store with a basket full of random samples! I grabbed this mini Cetaphil moisturizing lotion & a mini Secret Clinical Strength deodorant which I didn't bother taking a picture of. I figured the deodorant would come in handy for travel, & I'd been wanting to try the Cetaphil lotion for a while now, so it was perfect!

Mani: [Party of Five Glitters]

Wet 'n' Wild Dry Fast Nail Color in Party of Five Glitters over American Apparel's Passport Blue.

This drugstore polish is said to be a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday. The WnW one has chunky glitters of slightly varying size in silver, green, red, & pink, whereas the DL one has chunky glitters of noticeably varying sizes in silver, gold, red, green, and blue. I think that it's a similar polish, but I wouldn't say that it's a 100% dupe. But still, Party of Five Glitters is a very fun glitter polish & I liked it alot more than I expected I would :)

In my opinion, this glitter polish looks best over a black or a really dark blue/green/purple that almost looks black.

The brushes came nicely wrapped in this blue tissue paper.

These brushes are no longer on Hautelook, but I would suggest checking out  the Crown Brush website at crownbrush.com since it seems like most of the brushes that were featured on  the Hautelook sale are currently on sale for similar prices.

My top picks out of these brushes would have to be the first 2: they're great for applying foundation.
